Since its inception in 1996, KITE has built a unique capacity in the development and implementation of public benefit projects. KITE is the product of extensive capacity that has been built through a broad range of project and program experiences, partnerships with key national and international actors and the development of efficient internal management, governance and reporting capabilities. Our activities cover all the ten regions of Ghana from two operational offices – Accra and Kumasi. KITE also works extensively in the ECOWAS sub-region.

KITE LAUNCHES OIL AND GAS PUBLICATIONS

KITE APPOINTS NEW DIRECTOR

The Executive Council of KITE is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Ishmael Edjekumhene as the Director of KITE effective October 1, 2009 following the stepping-down of Mrs Harriette Amissah-Arthur after five years of meritorious service.
Mr. Edjekumhene joined KITE in 1999 as a Projects Officer and is currently the longest serving employee. During his over a decade stay in KITE, Mr. Edjekumhene has been involved in the development and/or execution of several development-related research projects thereby contributing substantially to the body of knowledge being generated within KITE.

KITE WORKS WITH IFC TO SET UP LAPAC IN GHANA & KENYA

The International Finance Corporation has contracted KITE to provide technical support in the establishment of Lighting Africa National Advisory Committee (LAPAC) in Ghana and Kenya for the Lighting Africa Programme.
